Admission
Requirements
Each applicant is assessed individually, taking into consideration:
• formal education
• professional achievement
• letters of reference
• statement of objectives
Normally, applicants will have completed a B.A. degree, with at minimum
‘B' average, and also possess a minimum of five years of work experience.
The University Prior Learning Assessment process will allow students who
have mastered the content of introductory courses in the program to obtain
equivalency credit. Such mastery may have been acquired, for example,
through work experience, independent study, or non-degree courses. In
this program area, potential students are likely to have been exposed
to at least some level of formal or informal training or skills-development
process, and appropriate assessment criteria will be established to provide
due recognition.
